Carlo A. C. de Oliveira is an Associate with Martin, Shudt Wallace, DiLorenzo & Johnson. Carlo is admitted to practice law in both New York and Massachusetts and he focuses his legal practice in the areas of labor and employment and civil litigation. In addition, he also practices in the areas of immigration and vehicle and traffic laws.


Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Carlo graduated from Hartwick College, magna cum laude, with an undergraduate degree in Political Science. He then attended law school at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. While in Law School, Carlo represented clients before the United States Immigration Court, Baltimore, Maryland, and in recognition of his work, he was presented with The Ward Kershaw Fund Award for excellence in advocacy on behalf of a client. Prior to joining Martin, Shudt Wallace, DiLorenzo & Johnson, he interned with the Honorable Thomas J. McAvoy of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. Carlo has also completed training in trial advocacy and skills with the Young Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association.


Carlo is a member of the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association and Albany County Bar Association.
